Well Merry Christmas Everyone! Where has the year gone?

At last I’m able to sit and catch my breath after a wonderful but very busy year and finally start my Blog. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while and hope that by sharing some of my experiences, you can get to know me a little better.

Christmas has again come and gone and it’s only a matter of hours now until we welcome in the New Year.

I love being a Celebrant and think it has to be one of the best jobs around! It is such an honour to be a small part of a significant event in people’s lives and for that I’m truly grateful. I’ve met many amazing couples throughout my journey - each wedding has been different, each couple has been different but the love and joy in their faces is always the same.

The beautiful little ones that I’ve had the privilege to Name have also been a blessing. From tiny babies to small children - it’s wonderful to experience the love and support of family and friends as they gather to offer their well wishes and formally welcome them into the fold.

I’ve had a few weeks break now between weddings and I must say the time off has been great to catch up with family and friends over the festive season and just spend time doing ‘nothing’ with my beautiful husband and two boys. I can’t wait to get back into things though and look forward to sharing some of my adventures with you on this Blog.

I hope 2010 has been good to you and wish you all a wonderful and prosperous 2011.
